Requirements For Liquid Tank Transportation

Liquid tank transportation must comply with the "Safety Management Measures for Road Transport of Dangerous Goods" and the "Regulations on the Management of Road Transport of Dangerous Goods," focusing on vehicle qualifications, loading specifications, and safety precautions.

Vehicle Qualification Requirements

Specialized vehicles must meet the "Technical Management Regulations for Road Transport Vehicles" and be equipped with satellite positioning devices and driving recorder functions.

Transportation of highly toxic chemicals, explosives, and similar substances requires dedicated tank or box-type vehicles. Tank volume restrictions:

Explosives and highly corrosive dangerous goods: ≤20 cubic meters

Highly toxic chemicals: ≤10 cubic meters (excluding tank containers).

Loading and Transportation Standards

Loading capacity must not exceed the vehicle's certified load capacity; overloading is prohibited.

Tanks must pass inspection, and the transported medium must fall within the approved medium list. ‌

Transportation of Category 1 radioactive materials requires a Nuclear and Radiation Safety Analysis Report. ‌

Safety Protection and Emergency Response

Equip vehicles with safety protection, firefighting facilities, and emergency communication tools. ‌

Drivers must complete pre-employment safety training, with training records retained for 12 months after termination. ‌

Consignors must provide a dangerous goods shipping manifest specifying item names, quantities, emergency procedures, etc.

Parking Facility Requirements

Enterprises must own or lease parking facilities for at least three years, with an area no less than 1.5 times the vehicle's footprint (for facilities housing ≥20 vehicles dedicated to highly toxic chemicals or explosives, add 1 times the area for each additional vehicle).
