Large Welded Steel Silo

Large welded steel silos serve multiple industries including building materials, grain and oil, power generation, and chemicals. They store powdered/granular materials such as cement, clinker, fly ash, and mineral powder, while also accommodating bulk commodities like grains, feedstuffs, petroleum coke, and sand/gravel aggregates. • Main structure comprises a cylindrical body with a spherical/spherical dome roof. Tank walls are fabricated from 6-25mm flat steel plates welded together, reinforced with circumferential and vertical stiffeners to enhance load-bearing capacity.
• Large-diameter models utilize truss or space frame roof structures. Designed through finite element analysis and international standards, they ensure structural stability for thin-walled containers and meet seismic resistance requirements up to seismic intensity 6.
• The silo base employs a wedge-type pressure-enhancing foundation design adaptable to diverse geological conditions. The bottom fluidization device functions as an independent unit, supporting maintenance with material in place while balancing load-bearing capacity and service accessibility.
