All-steel plate silos are storage facilities constructed primarily from steel. Featuring a fully conical discharge hopper supported by steel foundations, this structure consists entirely of steel above ground level with a steel cone at the base. Ventilation devices can be installed in the cone walls to prevent material buildup inside the silo, ensuring high volumetric efficiency and rapid material turnover. Primarily used for large-scale storage of bulk materials such as grain, feed, cement, and fly ash.

Supporting Systems and Functional Design
Material Handling System:
- Top-mounted feed inlet with material distribution device prevents localized pile-ups.
- Bottom-mounted screw conveyors, pneumatic chutes, or pneumatic arch-breaking devices ensure smooth discharge and prevent blockages.
- Protection and Corrosion Prevention System: The silo exterior undergoes sandblasting for rust removal followed by anti-corrosion coating (e.g., epoxy, fluorocarbon paint). Outdoor silos may be fitted with insulation layers, sun protection layers, or freeze-protection heating systems. Stainless steel or galvanized silos inherently resist corrosion in humid, acidic, or alkaline environments.
- Intelligent Monitoring System: Optional installation of level gauges (radar/ultrasonic), temperature/humidity sensors for real-time monitoring of material inventory and environmental conditions. Large silos can integrate with PLC control systems for automated loading/unloading and safety alerts.
